Hit-and-run accidents leave victims particularly vulnerable, as they are often left without immediate assistance or the ability to hold the responsible driver accountable. Pedestrians are especially at risk, and such incidents can result in serious injuries or fatalities.
After a hit-and-run, law enforcement must conduct a thorough investigation to identify the fleeing driver. Witness accounts, surveillance footage, and physical evidence at the scene are essential in these efforts.
