Canyon County, ID (January 6, 2025) – Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred early Saturday morning. The crash happened at approximately 7:53 a.m. on westbound US20, near milepost 14, just west of Notus.
Emergency responders were quick to the scene, providing care to the injured victims. A 22-year-old male from Parma, ID, driving a blue 2005 Toyota Tundra westbound, attempted to pass a semi-truck when his vehicle collided head-on with a red 2004 Toyota Prius traveling eastbound. The Prius was driven by a 33-year-old male, also from Parma.
The driver of the Prius, despite wearing a seat belt, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Tundra’s driver, who was also wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition remains undisclosed.
