Rear-End Collisions in Missouri
Rear-end collisions are one of the most common types of accidents on Missouri highways. Factors such as distracted driving, tailgating, and sudden braking often contribute to these incidents. When vehicles are traveling at highway speeds, the force of impact can result in severe damage and injuries.
In accidents like the one on US-61, liability is typically assigned to the trailing vehicle unless extenuating circumstances are identified. Drivers are encouraged to stay vigilant and maintain safe distances to reduce the risk of rear-end collisions.
