Lubbock, TX (January 4, 2025) – A small plane crash near the Lubbock Executive Airpark on Friday morning resulted in injuries to two individuals. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the aircraft, a Cirrus SR22, struck a tree shortly after takeoff and crashed in the 12200 block of CR 2500.
The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 10:30 a.m. The occupants of the plane, identified as 43-year-old Jeremy and Lacie Wilson, were transported to University Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries have not been specified, but reports confirm that both survived the crash.
