Portland, OR (December 30, 2024) – A dramatic rescue unfolded tonight in Southeast Portland, where police and firefighters worked together to save a woman trapped inside a burning vehicle. The incident occurred at the intersection of SE Mt. Scott Boulevard and 112th Avenue following a crash that left the car on its side and engulfed in flames.
When Portland police arrived, intense flames were shooting from the front of the vehicle. Moments later, Portland Fire crews arrived and began extinguishing the blaze. Firefighters broke through the car’s windshield to reach the driver, who was trapped inside.
