Intersection Safety in Wisconsin
Accidents at rural intersections, like the one at W CTH A and N CTH H, remain a significant concern in Wisconsin. Intersections lacking automated signals often rely on stop signs, and failure to comply with these can result in devastating crashes.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation identifies failure to yield and failure to stop as leading causes of rural intersection collisions. Public safety campaigns encourage drivers to slow down, approach intersections with caution, and remain attentive to traffic control devices to avoid such incidents.
