Orange County, FL (December 30, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of an 18-year-old Orlando man on Sunday evening. The incident occurred around 8:09 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 436 and Oleander Dr, involving a BMW 330i and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
Emergency responders from Orange County Fire and Rescue quickly arrived at the scene to assist the injured motorcyclist. The young man was transported to Advent Health East Orlando, where he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not released his name at this time.
The driver of the BMW was reportedly unharmed and remained at the scene to cooperate with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Currently, southbound lanes on SR 436 are blocked at Oleander Dr as authorities continue their investigation into the cause of the collision.
