Redding, CA (December 30, 2024) – Authorities responded to a fatal incident on I-5 North near the Riverside Ave onramp late Sunday evening. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received reports of a body in the roadway shortly before 9:00 p.m. The tragic discovery led to significant lane closures and extensive investigations throughout the night.
