Pedestrian Safety on New Jersey Roads
Accidents involving pedestrians, especially in commercial areas like Quakerbridge Rd, highlight the critical need for caution from both drivers and pedestrians. Busy shopping districts can present unique challenges with heavy traffic, reduced visibility, and increased foot traffic.
Drivers are reminded to yield to pedestrians at crossings and adhere to posted speed limits, while pedestrians should use designated crosswalks and remain vigilant when crossing busy streets.
