Stone, MO (December 27, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 76 at Highway 465, approximately two miles west of Branson, resulting in injuries and significant damage. The accident took place around 1:56 PM and involved a 2024 Kia K5 and a 2021 Ford Bronco.
Emergency responders, including Branson Fire and Rescue and paramedics, promptly arrived on the scene to provide care to those involved. The driver of the Kia K5, a 42-year-old woman from Kimberling City, MO, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center in Branson. She was reportedly wearing a safety device at the time of the collision. The second vehicle, a 2021 Ford Bronco, was driven by a 62-year-old woman from Greenfield, MO, who escaped with injuries and was able to drive her vehicle away from the scene.
The incident occurred as the Ford Bronco struck the side of the Kia K5, leaving the latter with total damage. The Kia K5 was towed from the scene by Whitworth Towing.
