Moselle, MS (December 26, 2024) – A devastating car crash on Christmas Eve claimed the lives of two individuals on Highway 11 near Moselle. Among the victims was 17-year-old Luke Davis Jr., a Columbia High School senior and standout football player. The second victim was identified as 33-year-old Zebulon Lott.
According to initial reports, Davis was traveling on Highway 11 after leaving a family gathering on Hankins Rd, heading toward Hattiesburg, when the vehicle he was in collided with another. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to assist. Sadly, both Davis and Lott succumbed to their injuries following the crash.
Davis’ family and loved ones are grieving the loss of a young man described as a kindhearted individual and a devoted father. Friends and community members remembered him for his talent as a kicker for the Columbia High School Wildcats and his aspirations for a college scholarship.
