Pedestrian Accidents in Arizona
Arizona, particularly in urban areas like Phoenix, has seen a significant number of pedestrian-related accidents in recent years. Intersections such as 91st Ave and Thomas Rd can be particularly hazardous due to high traffic volumes and the complexities of traffic signal timing.
According to data from the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA), Arizona consistently ranks among the states with the highest pedestrian fatalities per capita. Contributing factors often include crossing outside of designated areas or against traffic signals, as well as limited visibility during early morning hours.
In the aftermath of a pedestrian accident, the involved parties must cooperate fully with investigations. Families of victims may need support to navigate legal and insurance processes, including seeking compensation for wrongful death or other damages.
If you or a loved one has been affected by a pedestrian accident, resources are available to assist with the emotional and legal challenges that may follow.
