Burtonsville, MD (December 26, 2024) – Emergency crews responded to a serious pedestrian collision in the parking lot of Giant Food Store at 15600 Old Columbia Pike. The accident occurred at approximately 7:20 PM and involved a pedestrian who became trapped under a vehicle.
Responders from Burtonsville Fire and Rescue, including units PE715, HCM115, BC701, T715, RS742, and EMS704, were promptly on the scene to provide aid. Medics and fire crews worked together to free the trapped individual and administered immediate care. The extent of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian has not been disclosed at this time.
