Webster, NY (December 25, 2024) – A 69-year-old man tragically lost his life Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Empire Blvd in Webster. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 AM between Kirkland Dr and Webster Manor Dr, near Empire Park.
Webster Police reported that the man was standing on Empire Blvd when the eastbound vehicle struck him. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators from the Webster Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office have stated that the crash does not appear to involve any criminal activity. The roadway was closed for several hours to allow for the investigation but has since reopened.
