Brothersvalley Twp, PA (December 23, 2024) – A tragic crash Friday morning claimed the life of a woman and left another driver injured in Somerset County. The incident occurred around 7:00 AM on Glades Pike (Route 31), according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities reported that 37-year-old Meghan Kelker of Rochester, PA, was driving eastbound in a Ford Focus when she lost control on a curve for unknown reasons. Her vehicle collided head-on with a Dodge Ram 2500. Kelker was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 54-year-old man, was transported to UPMC Somerset with suspected injuries. His current condition has not been disclosed.
