Dallas, TX (December 23, 2024) – A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle occurred at the intersection of Irving Blvd and Wycliff Ave. Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.
The crash took place around 5:30 p.m. when a motorcyclist, identified as 30-year-old Michael Frantom, was traveling south on Irving Blvd. According to investigators, a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Jonathan Salazar Garcia made a left turn onto Sylvan Ave from Irving Blvd, colliding with the motorcycle.
Tragically, Frantom was pronounced dead at the scene. Salazar Garcia was arrested and charged with a collision involving death. Court records indicate that Salazar Garcia was in the country illegally. He is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail.
