Olive Hill, KY (December 22, 2024) – A devastating two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 60 near Greasy Creek Rd in Carter County claimed the lives of two individuals. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. on December 20, when a car driven by Austin Estepp, 28, lost control while traveling east. According to Kentucky State Police (KSP), Estepp’s vehicle spun into the westbound lane, where it was struck by an oncoming car.
Tragically, both Estepp and his passenger, Hunter Wallace, 18, succumbed to their injuries shortly after the collision. The driver of the westbound vehicle was unharmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as troopers continue to gather details about the incident.
