Walker County, GA (December 20, 2024) – A tragic house fire claimed the life of a 64-year-old man on Wednesday evening. Walker County Fire Rescue crews responded to a home on Liberty Dr around 6:00 PM, according to spokesman Joe Legge.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was pouring from the residence. Upon entering the home, they discovered the man’s body in the living room. His identity has not been released, pending notification of family members. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
