St. Charles, MO (December 19, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash resulted in injuries on Wednesday afternoon on westbound Route N, east of Ebert Ln, in St. Charles County. The incident occurred at approximately 2:48 PM and involved a 2005 Toyota RAV4 and a 2023 Ford F-350.
Emergency responders, including medics from the St. Charles County Ambulance District, rushed to the scene to provide aid. A juvenile male occupant in the Toyota RAV4 sustained moderate injuries and was transported to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital for further medical care. The drivers of both vehicles, a 22-year-old male in the Toyota and a 43-year-old male in the Ford, were reported to have used safety devices and avoided significant injuries.
The crash investigation revealed that the Ford F-350 was traveling southbound from a private driveway when the driver failed to yield the right of way, striking the westbound Toyota RAV4 in the intersection. The impact caused the Toyota to rotate clockwise, eventually blocking the eastbound lanes of Route N.
The scene was cleared by Superior Towing, which removed the damaged Toyota RAV4. Authorities continue to investigate the crash, urging all motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic laws. Our thoughts are with those affected as they recover from this incident.
