Lane Departure Accidents in Missouri
Lane departure accidents, such as the one on MO-21, often occur when a vehicle unintentionally drifts from its designated lane, leading to side or rear-end collisions. These accidents are common on highways and rural roads where speeds are higher and drivers may face distractions or road conditions requiring quick adjustments.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, lane departure crashes contribute significantly to accidents across the state. Drivers are encouraged to stay alert and maintain control of their vehicles, particularly during morning hours when visibility or traffic patterns can change rapidly.
