St. Louis, MO (December 18, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred Tuesday evening on Geyer Rd at Cragwold Rd, resulting in one fatality. Emergency responders quickly arrived to provide assistance and investigate the scene.
The accident was reported at approximately 8:25 PM in St. Louis County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 66-year-old male from St. Louis, MO, was traveling southbound on Geyer Rd when a pedestrian entered the southbound lane and was struck by the vehicle.
The pedestrian, a 56-year-old male from St. Louis, sustained fatal injuries. Fenton Fire Protection District personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene at 8:30 PM. The driver of the Chevrolet Equinox was uninjured and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene. The pedestrian was transported to the St. Louis County Morgue by Lonning Mortuary Service.
