Vacaville, CA (December 15, 2024) – A tragic house fire early Monday morning claimed the life of one person in Vacaville. Firefighters responded to the scene on Goldy Court at approximately 3:30 AM, according to Vacaville Fire officials.
Upon arrival, crews found flames engulfing a single-story home, prompting a second alarm to summon additional assistance. Firefighters entered the residence and discovered one individual inside. Despite rescue efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire crews from Suisun City and Fairfield joined Vacaville firefighters in combating the blaze and preventing further spread. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released as authorities work to notify next of kin.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
