Single-Vehicle Accidents in Michigan
Single-vehicle accidents, like the crash on Interstate 96 in Orange Township, are a common occurrence in Michigan. Fatigue is a significant contributing factor in such incidents, as drivers may lose focus or fall asleep behind the wheel. Guardrails, while designed to prevent severe damage, often indicate a high-speed collision when struck, further highlighting the potential dangers of fatigue-related accidents.
Michigan’s no-fault insurance system allows injured drivers and passengers to access certain benefits for medical care, regardless of fault. However, understanding these benefits and navigating the claims process can be challenging. Victims often face mounting medical bills, lost wages, and long recovery periods.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a single-vehicle accident, it is important to act quickly. Seek medical attention, document the incident thoroughly, and explore your legal rights to ensure a smooth recovery process.
