Coalmont, IN (December 12, 2024) – A serious crash occurred Thursday evening at the intersection of County Road 1200 South and County Road 400 West, just outside of Coalmont in Southern Clay County. The incident, reported at approximately 8:45 PM, involved four juveniles and resulted in multiple injuries.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, two of the juveniles were transported by ambulance to area hospitals, while the other two were airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis due to the severity of their injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
