Chattanooga, TN (December 13, 2024) – A distracted driving incident on Hixson Pike resulted in a car crashing into a building Thursday night, leaving two people injured. The accident occurred at the intersection of Hixson Pike and Tremont Ave, near The Corner at Riverview.
According to Chattanooga police, the crash was caused by a man who was on his phone while driving downtown. The distracted driver collided with another car, forcing it off the road and into a nearby building. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene to assist the injured parties.
