Pebble Dr, MD (December 11, 2024) – A house fire was reported at approximately 4:34 PM today at a 2-story single-family home located in the 5600 block of Pebble Dr. Units from the local fire department arrived on scene to find smoke visible from the back of the house. Firefighters quickly made entry and located the fire in the basement. They initiated an attack while advancing through the first and second floors.
All occupants were safely evacuated from the home, and one patient was evaluated by EMS for burns sustained during the incident. Fire Marshals (FM) were requested to assist in the investigation. At 4:55 PM, fire crews reported that the fire was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area as crews finalize their efforts.
