Grand Chute, WI (December 10, 2024) – Two individuals were seriously injured after their vehicle crashed into a house following a high-speed chase in Grand Chute on Monday afternoon. The incident began at approximately 2:00 p.m. when a Grand Chute Police officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 4500 block of W. Capitol Dr. The vehicle fled the scene, traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. The officer discontinued the pursuit shortly after the vehicle began to flee.
However, the vehicle lost control a short distance later and veered off the roadway, crashing into a house in the 3100 block of W. Capitol Dr, causing significant damage to the structure. In the aftermath of the crash, the two individuals in the vehicle fled on foot, running southbound from the scene. A police canine was deployed, and the suspects were located a few blocks away.
Both suspects were taken into custody and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, no one else was injured in the incident, and the damage to the house did not result in any further harm.
