Cole County, MO (December 8, 2024) – An accident early Sunday morning on Tanner Bridge Rd resulted in serious injuries to both the driver and a passenger. The crash, which occurred at approximately 12:25 AM, involved a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling southbound when it left the right side of the roadway, went over a retaining wall, and struck a tree. The driver, a 37-year-old male from Jefferson City, MO, and a 27-year-old female passenger from Montgomery City, MO, both sustained serious injuries. Emergency responders transported the driver via MU Air and the passenger via Mercy Air to University Hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Toebben’s Towing.
