Sweet Water, AL (December 8, 2024) – A tragic two-car collision on Alabama Highway 10, approximately four miles west of Sweet Water, claimed the life of a local man and injured another individual on Thursday evening. The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m., according to Alabama State Troopers.
Roderick Grayson, 35, of Sweet Water, was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Authorities report that Grayson’s car collided with another vehicle driven by 24-year-old Desondria Norwood, also of Sweet Water. Grayson succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Norwood sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Mobile for treatment.
