Kent, WA (December 1, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred early Saturday morning, resulting in the death of a 62-year-old man from Seattle. The incident took place just after 6:00 AM at the intersection of 68th Avenue South and South 212th Street.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after receiving multiple 911 calls from witnesses who had observed the crash. Upon arrival, officers found the man unconscious and lying in the road. Despite immediate efforts to save his life, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a man from Eatonville, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Kent Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident. No charges have been filed at this time, and the driver’s actions are still under review.
