Contra Costa, CA (November 30, 2024) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a fatal collision on the eastbound side of State Route 4 (SR4) at the Railroad Ave off-ramp late in the evening. A white sedan and a motorcycle were involved in the crash, resulting in one fatality. Despite immediate efforts from paramedics and fire crews, the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred around 10:30 PM, and both vehicles suffered significant damage. All lanes on the off-ramp were blocked as the investigation and cleanup efforts continued.
