Philpott with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Vehicle #2, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by a 52-year-old female from Marshfield, MO, attempted to make a left turn onto Evergreen Rd when it was struck by Vehicle #1, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The impact caused minor damage to the Chevrolet and moderate damage to the Chrysler.
Emergency responders transported the 84-year-old female occupant of the Chrysler to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of injuries. The driver of the Chrysler, a 52-year-old female, was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital Springfield for injuries. Thankfully, no major injuries were reported from either vehicle. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
