Pettis, MO (November 25, 2024) – A two-vehicle collision on US 50 at Crest View Dr resulted in injuries and significant vehicle damage on Sunday evening. The crash, reported at approximately 6:25 PM, involved a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer and a 1995 GMC Sierra.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred when the GMC Sierra, driven by a 34-year-old male from Sedalia, MO, was stopped to make a left turn. The Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 27-year-old female from Otterville, MO, struck the rear of the Sierra. The impact caused total damage to the Chevrolet Blazer, while the GMC Sierra sustained moderate damage.
A 32-year-old male passenger in the GMC Sierra sustained injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional by the Pettis County Ambulance District. The drivers of both vehicles were not reported to be injured. The Chevrolet Blazer was towed from the scene by Don’s Towing, while the GMC Sierra was driven away.
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene as authorities worked to clear the roadway and investigate the crash.
