Butler County, PA (November 24, 2024) – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Bonniebrook Rd and Great Belt Rd around 6:59 p.m today. Initial reports indicated no injuries, but subsequent calls confirmed multiple individuals were involved, with at least one person complaining of knee pain and others requiring medical evaluation.
Responding units, including C-15-2 and 45-3, arrived to find two vehicles in the middle of the roadway. Emergency personnel secured the scene, requested lighting, and performed battery disconnects on the vehicles for safety.
By 7:26 p.m., EMS personnel reported four patients in total. One patient was initially transported, and additional transport units were requested. Units 45-2 and 45-3 each transported one patient to Allegheny Valley Hospital, with a third transport by 45-1 to the same facility. The nature of the injuries ranged from minor to moderate, with one individual refusing treatment.
The intersection remained partially closed as crews worked to manage the scene, clear debris, and ensure public safety. The incident was declared terminated shortly before 8:00 p.m.
