East Lake Lillian Township, MN (November 23, 2024) – An injury accident occurred Friday afternoon on Eastbound Highway 7 at Milepost 119 in Kandiyohi County.
The crash, reported at approximately 1:21 PM, involved a 2019 Subaru Legacy traveling eastbound when it collided with another vehicle, which has yet to be identified. Emergency responders from Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Centra Care Ambulance, and Lake Lillian Ambulance arrived promptly to provide assistance and transport the injured driver for medical care.
The driver of the Subaru Legacy, identified as 68-year-old Gary Allen Bennett of Lake Lillian, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and no airbags were deployed in the vehicle. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
