Portland, OR (November 21, 2024) – A driver was killed in a rollover crash on Wednesday night in Northeast Portland. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 PM in the 13800 block of Northeast Airport Way, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Police reported that the vehicle rolled off the roadway and continued rolling until it came to a stop in a parking lot. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The PPB’s Traffic Division Major Crash Team responded to investigate the cause of the accident. During the investigation, westbound lanes of Northeast Airport Way between Northeast 148th Avenue and Northeast 138th Avenue were closed, while eastbound lanes remained open to traffic.
