King George-Westmoreland County, VA (November 20, 2024) – A tragic head-on collision on Monday evening along Route 3 near the border of King George and Westmoreland County resulted in the death of one man, injuries to another, and the arrest of a driver for DUI. The crash occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. and remains under investigation by Virginia State Police.
Authorities reported that a white Dodge Ram traveling east on Route 3 crossed the center line and collided head-on with a brown Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 34-year-old Anthony Ray Bullock-Brown of Colonial Beach in Westmoreland County, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Hyundai was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 32-year-old man from Warsaw in Richmond County, was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was treated for injuries at a local hospital before being arrested on charges of DUI and involuntary manslaughter.
