Carter County, OK (November 20, 2024) – A tragic collision on Highway 70, approximately five miles east of Ringling, claimed the life of a Ringling woman on Monday morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) has identified the victim as 49-year-old Jennifer Stoker.
According to an OHP report, Stoker was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced Stoker deceased at the scene, and her body was transported to a funeral home in Wilson.
The driver of the car was critically injured and transported to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment. Two additional passengers in the car, along with the driver of the pickup, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical care. Details regarding the circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation as authorities work to determine contributing factors.
