Little Rock, AR (November 19, 2024) – A fatal accident involving a pedestrian occurred at 9021 Chicot Rd in Pulaski County. The crash, reported at approximately 2:59 a.m., claimed the life of a 34-year-old woman.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Crystal Lopez of Beebe was sitting in the roadway when she was struck by a southbound 2007 Chevrolet. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene, and her body was transported to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office.
Weather conditions were reported as clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident. The circumstances leading to Lopez being in the roadway remain under investigation by authorities. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
