North Sacramento, CA (November 17, 2024) – A man in a wheelchair tragically lost his life after being struck by a sedan on Watt Ave near Roseville Rd early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident occurred around 5:30 AM when the man, who was in one of the street lanes for reasons that remain unclear, was struck by the vehicle. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital with major injuries, but he was later pronounced deceased.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision, including why the man was in the roadway. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
