St. Francois, MO (November 15, 2024) – A collision occurred at approximately 12:18 PM on Hillsboro Rd, involving a 2010 Ford Transit Van and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. The crash happened when the driver of the Silverado, a 75-year-old male from Bonne Terre, MO, failed to yield for traffic while traveling northbound. As the Ford Transit Van, driven by a 24-year-old male from Bonne Terre, MO, approached over a hillcrest, the driver attempted to avoid the collision by suddenly braking, causing the van to skid. The front bumper of the Ford Transit Van struck the front of the Silverado, leading both vehicles to lose control.
