Marysville, OH (November 15, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 347 and County Road 144, resulting in one passenger being injured. Authorities report that Paul Arms, 66, of Urbana, was traveling northbound on County Road 144 in his 1997 Chevrolet S10 when a 2022 Toyota Corolla, driven by Juan Castillo, 79, of Marysville, failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection. The Corolla collided with the driver’s side of Arms’ vehicle, causing a significant impact.
As a result of the collision, Marian Parra, 68, also of Marysville, who was a passenger in Castillo’s vehicle, sustained injuries. She was quickly transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville for medical treatment. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Castillo was cited for failing to stop at the stop sign.
