Pedestrian Safety on Highways in Missouri
Highways are dangerous environments for pedestrians, with fast-moving traffic and limited visibility increasing the risk of fatal collisions. Pedestrians struck in these settings often face severe or fatal outcomes due to the speed and size of vehicles.
Missouri law offers recourse for families of individuals killed in roadway accidents, allowing them to seek compensation for funeral expenses, emotional distress, and other damages through wrongful death claims. Promptly contacting law enforcement, gathering evidence, and consulting legal resources are essential steps for those seeking justice.
