Greene County, MO (November 14, 2024) — A two-vehicle collision on S Nettleton, 1.5 miles south of Springfield, left one person injured Wednesday evening. The crash, reported at approximately 7:10 p.m., involved a 2001 BMW M3 and a 2023 Acura MDX.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred when the Acura, driven by a 46-year-old female from Springfield, MO, pulled into the path of the BMW. The BMW, driven by a 34-year-old male, collided with the Acura, causing moderate damage to both vehicles. Both cars were towed from the scene by Henry’s Towing.
The driver of the BMW sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The driver of the Acura was not reported to be injured.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
