Charlotte, NC (November 13, 2024) – Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit are investigating a tragic accident that occurred in the Westover Division, resulting in one fatality and injuries to two teenage passengers.
The crash happened on Sunday, November 10, at approximately 1:16 AM, in the 6600 block of South Boulevard. Two teenagers were found outside the vehicle with injuries and were transported to Atrium Health Main for treatment.

Investigators believe the Toyota was traveling southbound on South Boulevard when it veered off course and struck a raised median, causing severe undercarriage damage. All occupants of the Toyota were reportedly wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
