Jefferson County, MO (November 12, 2024) – A rear-end collision occurred Monday afternoon on northbound Antire Rd at Nollman Rd, resulting in injuries to one individual. The crash was investigated by TPR. E.J. Raya of Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at 4:32 PM and involved two northbound vehicles: a 2013 Volvo S80 and a 2014 GMC Acadia. According to the report, the Volvo, driven by a 43-year-old woman from High Ridge, MO, was stopped to yield to oncoming traffic. The GMC, driven by a 42-year-old woman, also from High Ridge, MO, failed to maintain a safe following distance and struck the rear of the Volvo.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene by High Ridge Towing. The driver of the Volvo sustained injuries despite wearing her seatbelt and was transported by the High Ridge Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. The driver of the GMC was not reported injured.
