Miller, MO (November 12, 2024) – A vehicle crash involving a 2016 Polaris Ranger resulted in injuries to two individuals at a private residence on Crow Rd in Miller County. The incident occurred at approximately 1:18 p.m. as the ATV drove into a field, struck a rut, and overturned.
The driver, a 36-year-old male from Tuscumbia, sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City. A 42-year-old female occupant suffered serious injuries and was airlifted by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia. Neither individual was using safety devices at the time of the crash.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was released to the family. The incident was investigated by Tpr. T. M. Rayhart, with assistance from Cpl. M. R. Parker, Tpr. S. W. Mahaney, and Tpr. S. C. Latture.
