Temple Hills, MD (November 12, 2024) – A tragic three-vehicle collision on Saturday night resulted in the death of 30-year-old Darius Robinson of Oxon Hill, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department’s (PGPD) Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. The crash occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on the 4400 block of Wheeler Road.
Preliminary investigations reveal that Robinson, while driving eastbound on Wheeler Road, collided with a motor scooter and subsequently an SUV. Robinson sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The occupants of the SUV were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released information regarding the condition of the individual operating the motor scooter.
PGPD continues to investigate the cause of the crash and the circumstances that led to the collision.
