Floyd, NY (November 11, 2024) – A woman sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 365 in the Town of Floyd Sunday morning. The accident occurred just after 10:30 AM between Middle Road and McKern Road, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported that Phoebe Kline of Syracuse lost control of her motorcycle while exiting a driveway, leading to a collision with a pickup truck driven by James Patton of Holland Patent. Paramedics from AmCare provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before Mercy Flight Central transported Kline to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse for further care.
There were no reports of injuries to the driver of the pickup truck, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
