Mashpee, MA (November 11, 2024) – A tragic car crash on Job’s Fishing Road in Mashpee claimed the lives of a pedestrian and their dog on Friday morning. According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and was transported to Falmouth Hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries. The dog the pedestrian was walking at the time of the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved in the crash remained on-site and is cooperating with authorities. The Mashpee Police Department has stated that the crash investigation is active and ongoing.
